The Harvard Middle Eastern Cultural Association (HMECA) recieved federal grant money in 2006 to begin a Middle Eastern Language Seminar as a means for furthering language study at Harvard. Visiting professors are invited to lecture on contemporary issues in Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, or Turkish.
