There are more than 60 faculty members affiliated with the Center, representing the Departments of Anthropology; History; History of Art and Architecture; Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations; History of Science; Women’s Studies; Comparative Literature; Literature; Economics; Government; Music; the Divinity School; the Law School; and the School of Medicine.

CMES is home to more than 60 graduate students in four programs: AM in Regional Studies — Middle East, and joint PhD programs with the Anthropology, History, and Hisotry of Art and Architecture.

The Center is also home to 6 research associates working on various projects, nearly 25 Visiting Researchers from around the world, and 7 staff members.
