On Tuesday 21 October, the second feature film screening of the Middle East Region Film Series sponsored by the Outreach Center and the Middle East Initiative took place with the Lebanese film Under the Bombs.  It tells the story of the aftermath of the Israel-Hezbollah War of July 2006 through the eyes of a mother, a taxi driver and her son. 

 The touching story reveals the emotional and physical pain of the war through a graphic display of the result of the war on the buildings, landscapes and peoples of south Lebanon.  For a trailer of Under the Bombs click here. For more information on the film series please contact us.
