Submitted by ben_williams on October 27, 2009 - 12:44pm.
Outreach Center director Paul Beran worked with five classes of 10th grade geography students (100 approximately) at the Bromfield School, Harvard, MA. on Tuesday 20 October. The classes had been studying the Israel-Palestinian conflict and other topics in the Middle East region prior to the class. The class covered topics concerned with using geography to study the Middle East region, geography approaches to learning about the Israel-Palestinian conflict and featured some case study examination of topics related to geography on-going in the conflict today.  The Outreach Center regularly provides speakers and resources to area schools.
