Cailleen Bernardi teaches 10th and 11th graders at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. One of the areas she focuses on is Afghansistan.  An alumnus of a CMESOC partnered summer workshop in 2007, Cailleen asked the Outreach Center to assist her with presenting some of the daily life issues faced in Afghanistan.

The Outreach Center presented two-class lessons on Wednesday 13 May to her 53 students that covered Afghan history and examined contemporary humanitarian issues through several feature length films.
