Submitted by Jaclyn_michael on January 28, 2009 - 9:57am.

On Saturday 24 January the Outreach Center and Charlestown High School hosted local K-12 educators for a mini-conference on peer-based best practices for teaching the Arabic language.

The purpose of the gathering was to assist professional Arabic educators in meeting their changing classroom needs and building the foundations for a professional network.

Twelve educators coming from Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts were involved.
