Dr. Evan Lyon, a community health clinician and activist, has worked extensively with Partners In Health. He will briefly discuss the human and financial toll of the war in Iraq.

Doctors For Iraq is a medical, humanitarian, right to health organization established by a group of Iraqi doctors in Baghdad following the US invasion in 2003. Doctors For Iraq was established to provide emergency medical aid to civilians in the conflict areas of Iraq and to advocate on the right to health for patients, doctors and medical staff.  The organization has also worked to document the humanitarian crisis in Iraq. www.doctorsforiraq.org
