Aboubakr Jamaï is the founding publisher of Morocco's weekly magazine, Le Journal Hebdomadaire.
His paper has tackled tough topics such as government corruption, corporate impropriety, and other taboo political subjects in Morocco.
In 1999 the Moroccan government banned temporarily his newspaper.
amaï won the Committee To Protect Journalists’ International Press Freedom Award in 2003.
