The Prize of the Pole (80') - A young polar Eskimo Robert E. Peary II
stands at the intersection of many different time zones, geographical
spaces and cultures as he begins to trace the story of his famous
American great-grandfather Robert E. Peary, the conqueror of the
North Pole.

A Story of People in War and Peace (70') -This intense story of a war past and difficult reconciliation juxtaposes scenes from the conflict in Karabakh 12 years ago and footage of the same Armenian frontline soldiers' current lives. A Lesson in Belarussian (51') -Young political activists in Belarus, who never give up believing their country will one day be free, vent hopeful but fruitless protest against the re-election of the dictatorial President Lukashenko in March 2006.

In the Pit (80') - Workers building a second deck to Mexico City's Periférico freeway share their daily lives, hopes, dreams and struggle for survival in this stunning and often humorous film.
