The Harvard GSD Medina club cordially invites you to a lecture by Jeff Spurr entitled:
"From Scholars to Missionaries: the Origins, History and Organization of Photograph Collections Documenting the Middle East at Harvard's Fine Arts Library".
Jeff Spurr is an Islamic and Middle East Specialist with the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture at the Fine Arts Library at Harvard University. He will be discussing the collection and the history behind its creation and its current status.
The talk will take place in Room 510 - Gund Hall, 48 Quincy St., Cambridge.
