An expert on Turkish Classical music will be coming to a special session of the Turkish Table. In the Dudley Private Dining Room, Professor Robert Labaree will give a lecture/concert focusing on "Ceng Music in the Ottoman Court."  He will introduce the Turkish Table to the Turkish Harp (ceng), discuss the social context of Ottoman music, and play musical examples.  As always, there will be food and Turkish conversation after the talk!  I hope to see you all there, and I urge you to invite friends interested in Turkish Classical Music.
