HMECA request for book donations
A message from the Harvard Middle East Cultural Association:
Scholars, staff, faculty, fellows and students! The Harvard Middle Eastern Cultural Association (HMECA) humbly requests any and all donations of MENA-related texts (books, journals, grand coffee-table masterpieces) to be sold in next fall's annual HMECA Book Sale, proceeds of which will fund HMECA's lectures, guest speaker events, and student social agenda for the 2014-15 academic year.
HMECA has greatly expanded its role in this past year in partnership with CMES and other affiliated groups on campus, hosting events with visiting professors, diplomats in residence, and world-class artists and cultural critics. We hope to continue in this vein next year, but to do so, we need your help!
Moreover, we know that many departing students, fellows, visitors and simply generous souls are burdened by a surfeit of bound, papered knowledge. Let us ease your burden!
Please drop all donations off at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at 38 Kirkland Street, or in cases of substantial generosity (requiring assistance to transport), contact HMECA for a grateful helping hand, at: firstname.lastname@example.org
