Gregory  Aftandilian  comes  to  the Belfer Center after having worked most
recently  as  a  senior  advisor  on  Middle  East  affairs at the National
Democratic  Institute  for  International  Affairs, as a professional staff
member at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and foreign policy advisor
to  Senator  Paul  Sarbanes,  and  foreign  policy fellow to Senator Edward
Kennedy.   Prior to his work on Capitol Hill, Mr. Aftandilian served for 13
years  in  the  U.S. Department of State where he was a Middle East analyst
specializing in Egypt.

Everyone is welcome, but admittance will be on a first come – first served
