Islamic Theology, Sharia, and Human Rights Doctrine Start: 4:00 pm End: 6:00 pm Dr. Khaled Abou El Fadl is Omar and Azmeralda Alfi Professor of Law at UCLA School of Law. Khaled Abou El Fadl is one of the leading authorities in Islamic law in the United States and Europe. He works with various human rights organizations, such as Human Rights Watch and the Lawyer's Committee for Human Rights.
