Alumni Directory

The CMES Online Alumni Directory is a place for our alumni, faculty, and current students to stay connected to each other, and will replace the PDF version previously issued. As we’ve been working hard to overhaul our entire website, the directory is not yet populated with the directory information previously submitted. However, we are in the process of creating accounts for all alums previously listed in the directory and are working to input all that data. We hope to have the searchable directory fully populated some time this fall, and accounts created for, and communicted to, all of our alums shortly after the directory is complete.

Once it is fully operational and populated, it will operate in three ways. First, it will allow CMES to keep an up-to-date database of our alums so that we’re able to contact you about CMES events and news that may be of interest to you. In this capacity, it also helps us keep track of valuable data—for instance, the job sectors our alumni join after graduation—that help us continue to build our programs, as well as meet regulatory requirements associated with federal grant administration.

Second, it will allow CMES alums the ability to stay in touch with each other and with CMES, by giving you the ability to control the information that appears online and who has the ability to see it.

Third, it will operate as a tool for connecting current students with alumni, particularly in relation to potential internships and job opportunities. Many of our students are interested in speaking with alums working in their fields of interest.

When you use the Log In tool, you will have control over access to your information online, either by choosing not to publish it at all (select "CMES Admin only"), to publish some or all of your entry for other alumni to see ("Alumni only"), or to allow both alums and students ("CMES Community") to access your information. All Directory information, regardless of your permissions, will not be viewable to the general public.

Some time this winter, usernames, passwords, and instructions will be sent to all alumni/ae for whom we have email addresses.
